just sad today

Just sad today. I'm 4 months post op and honkerblonked off. I want to scream and cry. I keep running my fingers over my scars from my hyster and last csection and just wishing it didn't exist. My bellys all swollen this week and no clothes fit today. Just venting I guess. I want to lay in bed and pretend nothing exists for a while.

I hear you! I'm 23 and when I drive past the college campus here in town and see all the girls my age looking amazing and healthy while I'm trying to keep the seat belt off my swelly belly....well I get a little bitter. I just try to keep in mind that although I may never meet anyone on this site, we are all in this together, and we are never alone. Hang in there.

Oh sweetie that sounds really rough. Poor you. I am sending you a rained-on hug from the UK (rain rain rain over here!)

Tomorrow might be better, so just get yourself through today and maybe plan something nice for yourself tomorrow - buy a bunch of flowers, or a magazine or some new earrings - all on the internet so you can rest in bed.

Incidentally, maybe a day in bed would help?? bit of TLC & R&R all together!

Hang in there. We have the same surgery date. I have bad days too. My belly gets swollen and I have some aches and pains from time to time. This whole recovery exerience is a process. Whatever you are feeling is absolutely fine. It's were you are in your recovery. I hope that tomorrow will be a better day for you.

Hang in there sister! I try to remember the saying (and song) "some days are diamond and some days are stones"...soon there will be more diamond days than stones. I was very unhappy for quite a few weeks as was on HRT that was too strong for me..now have changed feel MUCH better and much more relaxed. It will get better, you just have to believe this!!
