Re: Memory loss?

Im constantly losing things! I looked for a dustpan for an entire day last week. I remember getting it out but nothing past that. I found it in the trash the next day. I look for my cell phone and realize it is in my hand.lol It can make you feel nuts.

Re: Memory loss?

I am 39, and 1 week post-op and couldn't agree more! The last week is one big blur and I really have to focus to think. I am even struggling with focusing to read a book. So instead I am going with mindless magazines until it passes hopefully soon!

Re: Memory loss?

Tracer dog - look in the trunk of your vehicle!

My daughter handed me something at a gas station. I arrived home and couldn't find it. I called and asked her where we were when she gave it to me and then if she would go back to see if I dropped it in the ground. She asked if I lost the other item she gave at the same time. I had forgotten about the other, a gift, and once she mentioned it, I knew where both were. I had put them in the way back of the van. I usually put items up front or on the passenger seat.

I find I don't track as well either. I will start an "story" in a conversation and then forget where I was going with it. What I was trying to say.
