Waiting is so hard (UPDATED)

I've tried so hard not to work myself into a tizzy, about this biopsy, but I've gone and done it! I have found every waking moment since last Friday that's all I can think about....all the what if's, what procedure if any....back to "your fine it's going to come back negative" Normally I don't want to have the phone ring, but I would give anything if it rang today!

Re: Waiting is so hard!

I know how nerve wracking it is. I'm already scheduled for a hyst no matter how mine comes back but I had a recent pap and biopsy because I'm high risk and now just waiting for the results. I thought it was funny when I went to my gyn because there was a fluorescent pick sticky on my folder that said high risk and she told me that's why I'm being biopsied as well. I hate the wait. I hope you get a good result and things are ok. Are you scheduled for a hyst or have you had one yet?

Re: Waiting is so hard!

When I didn't know what my pelvic mass was, I asked my doctor to call in a Xanax prescription. I didn't take it during the day, but it helped me sleep at night, which made my stress much easier to manage.

Hi Snugglecat,
Any news yet? My doctors office told me to call them next week for my results, maybe you can try that. I wish you the best, keep us posted!

Re: Waiting is so hard!

The waiting is sheer torture. I had a D&C last week and am awaiting the pathology results, which take 3-4wks up here in Canada. Its hard to put your mind on anything else, but I find that watching movies online helps to distract me for a few hours. (((((((((( hugs )))))))))) I hope that you get good news & soon!

Re: Waiting is so hard!

Hi everyone, actually I did hear from them last Wednesday. All clear!! Thank the LORD! I got really busy with work and then my mom got sick, I've not had a chance to log on until now. So I see the Dr on the 25th to discuss ablation, my only concern is with the ablation if they take all the lining out, what if something goes wrong later, how will they be able to biopsy?

Re: Waiting is so hard!

Hi snugglecat:

Congrats on a good report (so far) from the doctor. Here is a link with info & message boards about ablation.

Keep us posted on your progress. I am sending huge cyberhugs

Re: Waiting is so hard (UPDATED)

I did get my results back. They came back "okay". That was the word the dr used. Then my hysterectomy was moved from may 20th to march 4th.
