Questions about upcoming surgery

Hello ladies! I have a couple of questions,I'm 32 years old and my surgery is Jan 6! My doctor told me no working for 6 to 8 weeks, and my job does not want me to take that much time off! I used my vaction time already for endometris ablation! Am I able to get unemployement for the time I'm off and since being young the doctor told me I will heal faster,is that true? I'm having a total hysterectomy( enlarged uterus) leaving overies

Check into FMLA? Work with your human resources department, if you have one. But definitely look into FMLA. That's why it exists.
