6 weeks post op Light @ the end of the tunnel

Well I am now at six weeks. I still have a swelly belly mostly around the lower abdominal incision. The laproscopic incisions are healing very well. I can now do most things, of course I don't lift anything heavy and still limit my activity so I don't over do it. I can't walk as fast as I used to and I can not sleep yet. Can anyone tell me when they started to sleep through the night and was able to roll over to both sides when sleeping? Anyway I see the light at the end of the tunnel and it is GREAT! Thank You God

Re: 6 weeks post op Light @ the end of the tunnel

I've only really been able to sleep well a couple of nights out of the last week. I can roll over from side to side now but it wakes me up every time. When I'm on my back I still need a pillow under my knees. It is getting better though and I hope to be sleeping normally within a couple more weeks.

Hang in there!

Hi 8 weeks post op (tah&bso) still have swell belly, pain and soreness. Sleep been a major issue, struggle most nights to sleep with out help of sleeping tablet. But on upside...

O Swell belly a lot less than before, pain and soreness 75% less than at 5/6 weeks and sexdrive back.
