dVH/RALH Swollen & chaffed Vaginal lips

Hello sisters, I am a little concerned because as of two days ago I noticed when showering that my outer vagina lips are now swollen and dark pink in color. They feel rough to the touch when showering and they burn too. I am thinking it may be due to wearing pads every day since my Jan 6th surgery due to the pinkish spotting that has not stopped. It may be like a baby's diaper rash? Has anyone felt this? I also feel the same thing in my rectum area. Thanks!

I had that too beginning in week two of recovery. I had anterior and posterior repairs so lots of stitches and I think as I began to heal I had skin breakdowns. When I went to my two week post op it hurt so bad I cried when he examined me. He told me to do sitz baths twice per day until I healed. It took two weeks of sitz baths to heal the area. You may want to call your doctor.

Ok, so today after my shower I examined my vagina area and noticed the skin is peeling and it's white in color. I purchased Ivory soap to start using in this area since it has no perfumes and is 99% pure so I didn't get any pain while showering but now it is peeling. Anyone had this?
