Started bleeding two months ago. Recently diagnosed with HASHIMOTOS. H pyloric. . 'Im soon to be 62. Spotting. Thought it was low progesterone low Dhea. Waited for new blood work. New (troches$ hormones. Took them 3 days started hemmohaging. Anyhow waited a week to see gyno. Saw him. Ordered D and C with ablation op hysteroscope Now waiting for biopsy. Results. Bleeding stopped. Cramping.
Diagnosis rupture of uterine artery. Only embolization could he do. Couldn't even stitch 3 cm. becoming paranoid bleeding stopped but 50:50 chance of recurrence.
I'm an RN. And here I let them intubate me for 90 minutes. Cost me 3000. And still a huge potential and probable hysterectomy soon. I know nothing about what route to take.
Any advice ?? My specialty ventilators. Not Gynocology. Never had a problem. Till now. Feel horrible. Cramping. Afraid to move!!
