7 Weeks Post Hysterectomy- Bleeding With Clots

The surgery was a breeze and for the most part so was my recovery. Exercising, bathing , going to work .. all good! I have one little stubborn area along the cuff that won't heal-- so I continuously spot. I've had silver nitrate twice and monsels (which is gross BTW) . I am actually traveling in Paris as I write this. But I am now bleeding and passing clots and the monsels goop. Ugh what a mess. I messaged my doc who I adore and he said not to worry , ya easy for him to say he is not wearing Kotex everyday (who would have thought -- when I don't even have a darn uterus!). I have appt on Monday and he said it can wait. He said everything else is all healed so it should be fine.
Personally, I think the Monsels peeled away and probably left a raw area that bleeds and since I am walking 8 miles a day in Paris it probably doesn't help.
Thought I would share....

Goodness, that's a lot going on. Maybe you should consider slowing down considerably. Your body's obviously giving you signs that too much is going on while it's trying to heal. If I were you, I'd go back to square one with taking time off from work, no exercise, no sex, etc. Give your body the time it needs to heal - be patient for a while. I'm sure you'll appreciate it in the end.
