Two week check-up

Was pretty surprised at my two week check-up today that I had a FULL PELVIC EXAM

I was preparing for the worst pain but none came!! The Doctor said they do a very gentle exam to check and make sure the sutures are healing and that nothing is "growing together".

All was good and the pathology report on my cervix and uterus came back benign. My leg is still bothering me and I am having problems lifting it (pain in my butt cheek). Doctor said its from position during surgery and if not better by the six week mark then we will talk about PT.

As some of you know I had named my uterus Judy and the Doctor said my uterus was so big, it was really Judy and Trudy....twins!! hahahahaha She said a close second to the largest she has ever dealt with!! Yikes!

Generally speaking, I feel pretty good. I probably do too much in the mornings and feel tired by the afternoon but am following docs orders pretty close. My husband is still doing all the housework and laundry and I have been throwing a few one pot meals in the oven, nothing big.

I don't go back again until it's my six week and time to sign off for me to go back to work. Healing wishes and pain free days to all my recovering Hystersisters.
