Is This Abnormal?

Hi. I'm P/O wk 3. Had subtotal abd hyst. Cervix/ovaries remain.
Since hyst I never had any spotting or staining. Is this normal? Most posts I've read indicate some natural drainage d/t surgery.
Anyone else sans stains? What do I do with all those panty liners I bought pre-op?

Bless your heart! I would just be grateful. I kept liners because I've had some spotting, but I already gave almost 4 boxes of tampons to my best friend. Also, I would encourage folks with unopened boxes to send them to a local women's shelter. They really need any toiletries you can spare and are grateful to have them.

Hi Myjo,

Same here....I used only one pad after surgery and never needed another. I'm nearly a year since then...nada, nothing! I also stocked up on supplies prior to surgery and later returned them to Walmart where they gave me an instore credit since I had no receipt. Consider it recycling!

Consider yourself lucky!! I always keep panty liners around just cause i'm prone to yeast infections. I also keep pads on hand cause of my Girlfriends!

I never even saw a drop of blood. They put a pad on me in the hospital and I think I had a tiny spot of brown tinge on it and I haven't seen anything since then. I am 3.5 weeks p.o. right now. Enjoy it.. it's great right??
