Newbie: Hyster 9/24/07

Well I am 24 and had a total hysterectomy on 9/24/07 due to Endotremosis. Alittle sore but doing good I guess. The boredom is the worse part on bed rest. Found out standing or sitting actually hurts more than walking. So i lay and recline alot. I am currently taking a pill every day for hormones and yes I have so experienced my first hot flash and major crying spell the same day of my surgery my body flipped out emotionally. But doing better I guess now. I found this website and thought it was good to read others progress and learn more about what may be in my future. Welcome to post op! It's very good to have you join us. It sounds as if you are off to a pretty good start. Experiencing some emotional upheavals is pretty normal. I hope it will even out for you soon. Most women find it helps to come here and talk and ask questions and to know you are not alone. I was the same way with sitting. I couldn't do it for very long at a time.

Let us know if we can help with anything. Rest, walk a little as you feel up to it and drink lots of water. I hope your recovery continues to go smoothly.

Hello everyone I just had TVH on 09/28/07 doing ok just bored from sitting and laying .is the back pain and gas normal no matter wat i take its still there .At 1st i was very sad and upset bc i am 35 and hving to hve this but i came to this site and i and doing alot better . Hve a good one evryone
