Can i have a bath?
Sorry to hear about your back pain-as always check with Dr. about taking a bath. I also had lower back pain after (LAVH on 9/19/07) I asked my Dr. about using heating pad-said it was fine-It was wonderful and helped with pain and discomfort

Can i have a bath?
I was allowed to bathe at 4 days post-op after my tah/bso. But each dr has his/her own restrictions so please check with yours first. It's best to be cautious.
Best wishes.

Can i have a bath?
Better call your Dr. first. I had to wait 6 weeks before soaking in the tub or swimming. A heating pad works pretty good. I would ask the Doc first though. Each one is different.

Can i have a bath?
OHhhhhhh...........a bath sounds heavenly! Unfortunately, I'm not allowed yet, but I had a TVH so that may be why. I have the same back pains you are all talking about. A heating pad works wonders! I would call your dr. to make sure. It said no baths on my discharge instructions.

Can i have a bath?
My doctor said no bath for six weeks. I heated a rice pack for any aches and pains or used a cool pack. Sometimes heat worked, sometimes cool.

Hi thanks all...
I have been using a heating pack, and it does help, but gee a bath would have been great!
Think I will wait a while though, dont want any reason to have to go back into hospital..

I was supposed to be able to have a bath at six weeks, but Dr. Opie said to hold off two more. I have an appointment Tuesday.
