Stitches

I had vaginal hysterectomy and posterior and anterior repair and I also had to have a bladder sling on October 21. My check up isn't until November 21.
If anyone that had the similar surgery could help answer this question please.
I have one area where part of the stitches are exposed on one side of my vaginal opening. It's something that I just noticed a few days ago. I'm hoping I didn't pop the stitch or maybe it's just part of the dissolving process? How would I know if I did pop it? Would there be bleeding? It's kind if annoying and irritating and I'm worried. I feel like I have to push that area back up in fear that something has come loose. Maybe I'm just paranoid. Any help is appreciated until I can call my doctor for his opinion.

I did not have repairs but wanted to offer some support. I'm sorry you are having to figure this out. Sounds like your Dr may need to take a look to give you an answer. I hope all stitches and repairs are intact. It can be stressful in the meantime wondering what's going on, and not being able to see the area well doesn't help. I hope you get answers soon.

Thank you greyown. I'll be calling my doctor because you're right about not being to see everything and know if it's supposed to be and feel that way.
