Nuts...A Reschedule!

Well, heard from the doctor's office today that my TAH/BSO has been rescheduled from May 14 to May 21...drats! I was all set at work and getting mentally prepared for the 14th. Now I have to reset my frame of mind. At least I'll be able to fit in a couple more exercise classes....I'm hoping my abs will be so tight that when they start the incision they will have to ask for more equipment

That's too bad. I bet you will find that the time passes quickly in any case. After I had my hysterectomy, I finally dedicated myself to doing situps, and I can actually see a tiny bit of tone that wasn't there before.

Keep exercising right up until your surgery. I walked 3 miles a day and the one thing I noticed was that my legs were strong after the surgery. I can't bend over, but I can squat down to get things I drop. That's a real blessing ... I couldn't even do that last summer when I had stopped my walking routine.

Nuts...A Reschedule!

Thanks! I have really picked up my exercise since September of last year...free weights, bands, walking, swimming. Along with losing about 50 pounds which really needed to come off, and toning up the body, I am really in the best shape I have been for about 15 years. I'm hoping that I won't be out of the exercise loop for too long and can get back into some sort of exercise routine, althoughing slow and easy will be the name of the game. I couldn't imagine having the surgery in the lousy shape I was in before.
