Realeased 6 weeks post op

Well almost lol. Have to go back in 2 weeks to talk about how I am doing with the premarin. I have a lifting restriction of 20 # forever , slowly increase lifting he says.
I have to go for a colonoscopy because of the constipation, but gonna give it a couple more weeks to see if the premarin helps any. I had constipation before hand it just seemed to had gotten worse after the tah/bso..
Still have to wait till 8 weeks to drive my 4*4 or go muddin. My incision is still a bit touchy and hurts at times, he says this is normal, just keep a eye on it.
Says having relations is okay now as long as I feel comfortable. Don't think soooooooo.. Don't touch me for a while lmaoooo..
I asked about estroven and stuff like that, but because the night sweats are so bad, 3-4 times a night, he wants me on a RX for 3-6 months, then slowly come off of them. He says that most of this will pass and I will feel like a brand new woman in 6 months. 6 months Oh well guess I got a excuse to be waited on now and then still right lmaoooooo..
Thanks to all of you wonderful ladies for all your wonderful support. You have been a blessing. I am sure I will have 10,000 more questions in the future lol..
Hugs to all of you
Katie

I'm sorry everything seems to be taking so long to sort itself but, in my very humble opinion, the magic 6 week mark isn't sometimes all that *magic*!

I remember feeling a real difference at about 8 weeks. I was also told not to expect to feel completely normal until about 3-4 months. Although I felt well before that, the confidence to be 'normal' wasn't really there until that point.

So, hang in there! It will get better but may take a little longer. And, yes! Continue with the pampering ~ you'll never stop being a !!
