LAVH Urination Problems 3 weeks post Hysterectomy

I'm 3 weeks post op, and I'm having urination problems,
I seem to be leaking urine from my urethra, it's only noticeable on sanitary towels, I can't feel it leaking out of me,
I'm wondering if I have an infection of some sort, as I get pain in my kidneys, and all round, from my back to my stomach,
I'm due to see my gp next Wednesday 12th August,
My wee has a slight smell to it, and it's also quite dark,

Hi, i'm 12 days post up and found out i have a UTI on Friday, started cipro. I had no bladder muscle as soon as the catheter was removed. I could only dribble for days, then noticed leakage too. I ignored it all week thinking it was just part of recuperating and when he examined my kidneys i felt pain only in my left and my bladder is now on fire and i doc wants to see me again tomorrow. I would call the doc to let him know and get in earlier. The pain im in now is excrutiating, i even posted for advise. so i hope u dont wait like I did. Cant hurt to get checked sooner than later especially with the fact you have typical UTI symptoms. Be well, speedy recovery!!
