Anxiety/nervousness/etc.,etc.!

I know everyone responds differently to meds, but was wondering about what hormones, combo, estrogen, test.etc., that the majority of you out there take. What helps most of you feel calmer, more positive, confident, etc., not that nervous feeling.

I do take Estrace, and Celexa, but after all this time, this anxiety still rules me sometimes. I HATE IT!!!!

WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM EVERYONE! THANKS

ANITA

Re: Anxiety/nervousness/etc.,etc.!

Hi Anita,

For me, it is the oestrogel but I still have some problems with getting the dose right. It seems too much makes me feel agitated and too little affects my memory!

Anxiety is kind of okay though on a lower dose. When I was on the estraderm patch I was a bit of a nightmare so I have to say the gel works for me.

Re: Anxiety/nervousness/etc.,etc.!

I'm on Paxil for anxiety, been for a long time. I'm using Divigel .1 and Vagifem twice weekly.

So far, I feel good.

Good luck in your quest!

Re: Anxiety/nervousness/etc.,etc.!

I have anxiety all the time. Been on Klonopin for years and compounded hormones but the anxiety stays with me. And to make matters worse I am dizzy all the time. Like they say "there is nothing like the real thing" Still looking for peace of mind. And since I have a blood sodium problem I can't any AD except Wellbutrin and that makes my anxiety worse. Between a rock and a hard place.
Praying for a miracle.

I find progesterone helps with my anxiety. Of course that's after optimizing estradiol levels.

What kind of estrogen do you take, and how much if you don't mind me asking? How much progesterone? Just curious! I'm up for all inquiries so I can study!!haha

Well, I do take Celexa, but?? I guess I could feel worse, which I know is possible. I hope you have gotten more opinions about the AD, I hate this for all of us. Faith and Hope keeps me at least trying.

Keep me updated
