7 weeks out-emotional wreck
Hi Sisters,
I am 7 weeks out and recovery has been smooth-thanks be to God. However, for the past week, I have been EXHAUSTED, headachy, ill and snappy or sad and crying. My husband is scared of me-bless him. I am almost certain this is hormonal. I kept my ovaries and so...well...so I guess I am still crazy? I think I might need to start taking my iron and b12 again for the fatigue. My levels were low before surgery. Has anyone had a similar experience? I am praying that this is not going to happen once a month...Suggestions? Observations?
Best to you all sisters-Amy

Re: 7 weeks out-emotional wreck
If you kept your ovaries, you're still going to cycle, so it could be PMS. Part of the reason I wanted mine removed was because my PMS was awful. I'd rather deal with the physical effects of no ovaries than the monthly mental insanity I went through when my hormone level fluctuated.
Biotin is another good vitamin to take. It's actually the only vitamin I've ever taken where I noticed a difference.

Re: 7 weeks out-emotional wreck
I kept both my ovaries and I had a roller coaster of emotions for the first 3 months. After that it leveled out. I don't get the PMS every month. Everyone is different and I hope it starts to level out for you. BIG HUG!!!
