I don't believe that I have a sharp burning sensation on my right side. However, I do have a sharp burning/pulling sensation below my belly button and above my ab. incision, and other sisters have said that they have the same sensation. I don't believe that what you are saying is the same? If it gets worse or continues to bother you, and is only on the right side maybe you should call your dr. Maybe some other sister has been experiencing the same pain/sensation? You probably are over doing also. So please remember to not do too much. The recovery is long, but well worth it! Take care of yourself and follow-up with your dr. if it continues. Bless you and much love and hugs to you. Hang in there...........

I have also only had the burning pulling sensations. I think you should call the dr to put your mind at ease. Feel better soon.

new sharp burning pain...

I'm having a sharp burning pain intermittently as well, and I'm two weeks out. They took my appendix so I am chalking it up to healing. I know I haven't done anything strenuous so I can't imagine it would be that I've damaged something.

If you are worried, by all means call the doctor. They'll probably put your mind at ease. You have to figure, all our stuff is "growing back" and healing so it's gotta hurt a little. I find every morning when I wake up, I have a new pain, a new ailment somewhere. But things are getting better. This is truly a long recovery though.

I hope you feel better soon. Good luck.
