less than 2 months

Now it's real... I had my 9/24 surgery date confirmed yesterday, but it didn't feel real until today when I got my pre-op scheduled for 9/14. One more period, what a strange thought. My doc is leaving the cervix decision up to me and after a lot of research, I'm deciding to have that removed with everything else. I'm so excited.... and scared, but I'll try and stay focused on the good, instead of the "what ifs" that probably won't even happen. I waited since 6/17 for my date, now I'm waiting for the day that my life will change.

Re: less than 2 months

Glad you got everything scheduled, it is weird thinking about having one last period! I also had to wait about 2 months for my TLH - I scheduled it in April and just had it July 8th. I'm in my 3rd week post-op and feeling pretty good. It seems like there are not many of us out there that have a TLH. So far, I haven't had any complications or anything happen that I was afraid of. The anticipation seems to be the worst part. I wish you all the best!

Re: less than 2 months

I know what you mean! I feel myself lucky because mine is going to be so quick. I went in last monday for a biopsy and will have my surgery in two weeks! I think I'd rather have it sooner than have to wait a whole month.

Good luck to you with your surgery!
