Ball of Pain??

I have been having this little area just about 2 inches above my largest incision and it literally feels like a little ball of pain. Thats about the best way to describe it. It is as though I should be able to see like a golf ball under my skin or something, but when i feel that spot there is nothing there. Its driving me absolutely nuts!! There is nothing visable there, and pressing in doesn't seem to make a difference better or worse. Anyone ever have this kind of experience. Also, I am 4 wks post op tomorrow.

Yes, I had exactly the same thing. Like a little skinny-oval shaped swelling which swells more than anywhere else and is more painful. Mine is right above the incision on the left.

Maybe we should see our docs, eh?

mine is to the right and usually only hurts when I lay down, but I too can't see nothing there but I can feel the lump, I see my doc the 1st so I am waiting & asking her then about it. With the gas prices I can't afford to run to her everytime I feel an ouchy, LOL... Hope everyone is fine and healing Great!!

Well I am away from home till next week. Spending time up north with my mom and sister. So let me know what you find out, I am hoping its a normal part of recovery. It doesn't seem to be causing anything severe, just the annoying "ball of pain".
