Scared
Aww, bbatt...
Here's a big hug for you! Having just gone through something very very similar, I KNOW how scary this is. I watched my ovarian mass grow bit by bit over a year's worth of ultrasounds, afraid it was cancer, especially because my mom's sister and her first cousin both have ovarian cancer. And I discovered 4 days before my hysterectomy that I have a thyroid nodule with a 50-50 chance of being cancer (going to have surgery on it hopefully in the next few weeks and will find out. I understand your fears, believe me.
Is the cyst attached to your ovary? Mine was, and they were concerned because it DIDN'T look like a normal hemmoragic cyst. Also, do keep in mind that even with a family history of ovarian cancer, chances of having it are still really low. Odds are that it's benign. A mass with a cyst attach does not automatically equal cancer. But I know that doesn't stop you from being scared.
Just hang in there!!!
