I'm so tired!!

Friday will be 6 weeks since my surgery and this is my second week back to work. I am so tired and the past few days I have been sore. I was doing great but the past several days have kicked my booty!! I went grocery shopping Saturday with my 7 year old for the first time Saturday. I don't know if pushing the buggy with him and groceries did it or what. Is anyone else this tired!?

Re: I'm so tired!!

I am 4 weeks postop from TVH, cystocele/rectocele repair, bladder sling. This is my 2nd week back to work, and I am exhausted!!! Last night I just felt like my whole body was broken and could no longer move.

I am still draining too which is very irritating to the skin around and is more bothersome than really anything so far. Every day I just pray that the draining will stop.

You are one tough women! You went back to work after two weeks? I can imagine you're tired!! I hope you start to feel better soon!! Does sitting bother your incisions from the sling?

Re: I'm so tired!!

I went back at 3 weeks, and so this is my 2nd day of my 2nd week back. Last week I shortened some of my days to rest a little more. It was hard to sit for long periods last week, but this week I am fine except for the irritation that I mentioned from the draining. Ugh!

Re: I'm so tired!!

I wish I would've started back part time! I feel worse this week than I did last week! Good luck! I hope the draining stops soon! And sorry about my math. I read that and thought 2 weeks! LOL

Re: I'm so tired!!

I'm 7 weeks post op. and am exhausted also! So much that I just went to my doctor today for a full blood check. Hopefully something comes back off so it can be a quick- no brainer fix. Otherwise this exhaustion sucks and I just want to wake up already!!

I was wondering if I should do the same! I will say though, my coworker said that it took her a good 6 months to not feel so tired!

Re: I'm so tired!!

I'm 5 weeks post-op I'm soooooo exhausted too. I don't know if ts because I'm getting out more or if its because of the surgery. I go for my post-op visit on Thursday so I'll have him do some lab work.
