Panic attacks??? This is new!

Ladies I bought a ticket for a bus trip and boarded with my husband and granddaughter, we had to go about midway in the bus, sat down, nice and comfy, more people board, totally packed and the driver turns on the heat as we wait for the rest of the people to board. I begin to fan myself trying to cool down and the next thing I know I have this feeling of doom, I felt like I could not breathe, that I needed to get out right then and now, heart racing, it was horrible, I turned to my husband and said we have to get off, I cant do this. My poor granddaughter was trying to find a way to open the window which of course doesnt open. The lady behind me yelled up to the driver, turn off that heat its to hot in here. He turned the heat off and I take a deep breathe and try to relax but it just wouldnt completely go away. Soon the feeling began to creep up intense again, we had to get off the bus!!! Have any of you had this happen??? Have you heard of menopause causing this??? I dont know what to think.

PMDD, anxiety/PTSD with omg gonna die if i can't get out right now panic attacks pre-op and still a bit anxious post-op. Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) helped me. Meditation is helping a friend. Could be temporary in your case while your adjust to your new life. If it interferes with your regular activities, talk to your dr.
