Questions

I went for my 6 weeks this past Tuesday. I had hyst w/BSO. He increased my Vivelle dot from .05 to .075. I applied it Fri. evening and this evening while having dinner, I had a sense of feeling really strange in my head. I had to abruptly get up and leave the table. It's really hard to describe but it was almost like anxiety w/panic that worsened when I tried to just sit there and let it pass. I had to get up and leave because I couldn't set still. My head felt kinda lightheaded but also a fatigue feeling all at one time. Have any of you ever had things like this to happen? Also, are any of you on progesterone, like prometrium, athough you've had your ovaries removed. I wonder if the increase of the Vivelle wasn't too much. I really would rather have blood work when changing my hormones rather than someone taking a guess at them. I know hormones can change from day to day, but I don't have ovaries so what I'm getting is from patch only. Today is the first day I've really cleaned the house this well as I did since surgery so I dont' know if I'm just really tired or what. Any input or suggestions would be great.

Questions

Questions

At 6 weeks I know I was still recovering and had periods of weakness.
Almost everything you describe I believe could be attributed to the ongoing recovery process and not necessarily the change in hormone application.
I am on the vivelle dot as well and have not had the side effects you mention as the dosage has been increased.. but I did have the symptoms you describe when I was early in my recovery as you are now.
Peace and good health
