Over-doing it at day 17

I just got my first lesson in over-doing it. I went to the river today and sat on a rock just putting my feet in. When it was time to leave "I thought" it would be easier to walk through the shallow water to the bank closest to where my car was parked, instead of up the trail. Bad idea! the mud was so deep in some places it went up to my mid calf and there were several big rocks I had to maneuver around. It didn't seem to bad at the time but now I am very sore. Sometimes it's hard to determine what you can and can't do when you start feeling better. Anyway, it's back to laying on the couch for the rest of the night and maybe tomorrow to.

Hi rosen!

Your saga sounds like something I would have gotten myself into. It's tempting, during the early post-op recovery period, to get outdoors and do something enjoyable and refreshing. However, sometimes "communing with nature" is more than we bargained for! Like (((Carolyn))) said, you take it easy these next few days!

Many s and Best Wishes,
