Five weeks Vaginal Cuff feels irritated
I'm about 5 weeks post op now. I've been feeling better and better each day, except for a few setbacks from overdoing it a little.
I was feeling very well two days ago, but my allergies have been acting up. I was sneezing a lot, and now since yesterday, I've noticed that I can feel irritation inside my vagina like it felt a couple of days after my surgery.
Mostly, it only hurts when I pee. I know it's not my bladder that's hurting, because it a different feeling, it feels almost like when I would get a yeast infection, except without the itching and burning. And it goes away a few minutes after I lay back in bed. Maybe pressure from the way I sit on the toilet?
There's no bleeding coming out, nothing out of the ordinary. Could it just be that the nerves are healing up right there? Maybe I just didn't feel right there until now?
I'm hoping my sneezing fit didn't injure anything!
It does seem to be a little less painful today than it was yesterday.
Anybody else know of something similar?

Re: Five weeks Vaginal Cuff feels irritated
Hi tyrdrannoy
I felt the same thing at 5 weeks and made an appointment with the doctor because I was sure I had a horrible infection. Fortunately, it was just one last stitch that hadn't come out. It was poking me, but only when I was vertical. The doctor took some long tweezers and pulled it out.
You are still doing a lot of healing, but why don't you call your , just to be sure.
