LAVH 8 days post op bleeding

Hi ladies. I am 32 and am post op 8 days from an LAVH. I have noticed an increase in bleeding and just curious if any one else has experienced this? I've had a rough go thus far recovering with a few complications so kind of worried about the bleeding. Hopefully I'm not alone on this. Any suggestions?

Hi LindseyAnne, some spotting or bleeding is normal. The general rule is if you are soaking a pad an hour, then you need to be seen. Sometimes bleeding increase when you increase your activities. I don't know what complications you've had during your recovery, but listen to your body. If it doesn't feel right, give your doctor a call and he'll let you know what you should do.

Thank you so much for the kind thoughts and advice. I am not bleeding that heavy and have increased my activity the past few days. Hopefully that's all it is.
