types of Hysterectomy

I've been seeing different types of Hysterectomy and I was wondering what they are. I'm having the LAVH and know what that one is. But the others like Davinci I don't know.... sorry if this is a odd question. Does anyone know if the uterine manipulator is used for Hysterectomy?

I can't answer your question about the manipulator?!?..... That sounds painful, so is probably used with hyster!! Lol I had TAH LSO which is a total abdominal hysterectomy with removal of ovary and tube (I only had one left) my cut is hip to hip!! I had this type of surgery because of cancer and the need to really see everything etc...... I don't know much about the other types either, just my own!! All the best

From my quick Google search, it looks like a uterine manipulator is used in laproscopic surgeries, but it could very well be used in other surgery types as well.
