First month with no period.....

Just wondering how everyone felt the first month after surgery when they realized they SHOULD be having a period at this time, and, hmm, nothing's coming out.

Realized mine on 11/2 last week. I counted back to my last period and realized I should have started the day before. Felt REALLY good. No more pads, no more PMS, no more cramps, no more gosh darn PERIOD, PERIOD!

My period was pretty irregular at the end, but I would have been starting any time within the next week. I'm 3 weeks post-op today, and I had my last period right before I went to the castle. I'm not sure it has really "sunk in" to me yet that I will NEVER have to go through another horrible period!! It feels darn good to know that. Wonderful, marvelous, fantastic!!!!

8 months without a period!

Yes, I agree, it is wonderful. No more getting up several times at night to change pads! I gave all my tampons to my DD.

Actually, I have to laugh now at how I handled my October period, which was my very last. I was at work that entire week, up until my surgery. My September period was the worst, culminating in scheduling a TAH, but I knew I'd have my October period prior to the surgery. I spent the entire week with the biggest pad I could purchase on, one foot perpetually headed towards the rest room, and a change of clothing in my locker. Thank heavens the period was normal, so all the worry was for naught.

Great, no bleeding, no pain, no anaemia, no planning my holidays or social life around my period, the alien has left my body !!!!

Wearing white pants today

I am only 1 week post op but when I am feeling better I told my DH that I am shopping for new panties! I can't wait so excited. No more washing out stains for me!

I know isn't it great!
