Falling is nothing to ignore

I fell hard Friday night!!!!!!!! I was mostly scared that I hurt my insides than I was about my bloody knees and twisted ankle. I let it ride through out most of Saturday.Bad idea. If anyone falls DONT IGNORE IT. I ended up in the E.R. yesterday after I sneezed and it brought in a stabbing pain. I hurt right now more than I did after surgery. It was stupid of me to think I should just ride it out and be tough til I felt better. GET CHECKED if you fall.Please. Im into my 5th week and I just didnt think that anything could happen since my recovery has gone so well so far. I as so wrong. Ladies, if any of you fall, get checked just to be sure.I am fine but I tore alot of muscles in my tummy and back so I am back to strict bad rest again So I guess I'll be back in a few days to let you know how I'm doing.Alot of ladies on this site TOLD ME to go to the docs and I still tried to tough it out. If your hurt,go.Love,Tamara

Tamara Jo -

I'm sorry you got hurt! What a bummer. It is so hard for us women to ask for help. We always feel like we are putting someone out. If it weren't for my good Dr always telling to call him and reminding me have a low threshold about it and no I'm not bugging him - I probably wouldn't have called in time to help myself either! I'm glad you finally got it checked out and I wish you a speedy recovery!!

Sorry you fell, that's awful! It is very icy here and I haven't been out of the house for 8 days strictly for that reason. What if I fell? I'm sorry it happened to you, but I'm glad you had it checked out.

Falling is nothing to ignore

Tamara, I too fell about 1 week ago, everything inside of me rattle and I had a burst of bleeding. My doctor said that the stiches inside move with you but can pull just as easily. I agree 100 percent, If you fall get checked out. I hope you fell better very very soon.
take care
