Scar Tissues

Hi everyone,
I have a question about scar tissue. I am 8 weeks post op. At my 6 week post op visit, my doctor told me that I had scar tissue. He told me that I could resume normal activity, but that I could bleed when I have sex. I had sex for the first time last night. I had some pain, which was primarily on the right. Afterwards, there was blood on the sheets. I continued bleeding for about an hour. It was not bright red, but it was blood. I am going to call the doctor on Monday. I am worried that things will never be the same! I hope it isn't going to hurt whenever I have sex! What about the bleeding? Will that stop? Please, if anyone has insight, let me know!!

HI! Everyone heals at a different rate! Your body is just still healing. You might ask your dr if you need silver nitrate (sp?). It helps you vaginal cuff heal, that's most likely why you are bleeding. I'm sure everything will be fine! We just don't heal as fast as we would like! Keep us posted!
