My name is Marie and my mom is having a hysterectomy October 10th

Hi, my name is Marie and I am 18, worried about my mom who is having a hysterectomy, she has a blood disease and am just afraid she might bleed too much during the surgery, I hope that does not happen. She is having the surgery October 10th, the good thing is I am getting a new kitten, she is letting me get another kitten before the surgery so I will not be lonely, plus I got my stepdad, then I got 2 other cats and a dog. Hope this will go well for her, means my stepdad is taking off his job but me still I am going to be working and going on with life I guess in the transition program.

Rest assured that your mother's doctor has taken everything under consideraton. If he/she had any concerns I'm assuming that he/she would have had her donate her own blood. (The chances of needing a transfusion are very rare).

Remember when your Mom comes home, she is going to need plenty of help.

not rare for my mom, she has had to have many blood transfusions, not cause of losing blood just cause she has needed more cause of her blood disease, had one done not long ago, my mom has a rare blood disease, has had many transfusions not rare for her.
