gas pains??

hello....i had my surgery on 6/4 and was wondering if it was "normal" to be still having gas pains?? and i still am cramping feels like the onset of my period....:/ i did keep 1 ovary.....everything else is gone along with my 18-19cm fibroid....! Doctor told me it was just about as big a basketball! can"t wait to feel better to see if it feels different....did that make sense... lol

I am sorry you are dealing with them, but they will go away with time. The above link deals with tips for dealing with gas pains on diet, drinking, and walking.

Try the warm moist heat to your lower abdomen, as hopefully that trick will bring you some relief. You might try Gas-x and check to see if your doctor has any recommendations to help ease the pain.
