Can a bladder or rectum drop right after a hyster?

Hello Leather!

Well, I think that depends..everyone is different. I know I had a cystocele before my hyster, but it wasn't repaired with my hyster. About 1 1/2 years later (and a new gyn who also happened to be a uro/gyn, thank the Good Lord!!!) I had 3 "celes" repaired along with a vaginal vault suspension surgery. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for women who have had hysterectomies to get prolapses down the road, when that will happen depends on alot of things. Do you think you have prolapses? Take care and let us know how you are doing.
