How do I keep going not smoking.

I'm 14 days till my op in the UK. I have tried to.stop before and even paid £250 for a stop smoking course. I stopped before once coz my car stank of smoke. I woke up yesterday after 4 days on the beer with a friend visiting. Woke up coughing like an old train puffing and thought stuff this. It hurt my stomach coughing and worried me about coughing with internal stitches. I found some old patches in my cupboard,ya out of date so ordered some new on line but still.stuck a patch on after ready it may not be as strong but I am only a 10 roughly a day of rolled tobacco more if bored as can't smoke at work. Not even 24 hours and craving badly. Electric fag needs charging already. My mouth feels like I have been on the beer still. I need strength to do this and Hoping that buying patches will help. I know I can go a whole 12hr night shift and only have 1 so why do I feel so bad already. I am a.prison officer so the job is stressful in itself. I am on antidepressants due to a past suicide attempt. They fou d a 7.5cm fibroid and advised for it all to come out as don't and can't have kids. How long will I possibly be out of work in my kind of job. He says to have hrt but have read star flower and evening primrose can help so do I refuse the hrt . How do I keep going not smoking. I'm now 11 stone but was 16 stone years ago so have a weight complex and use the gym 4 times a week. I'm scared of everything at the mo. Any advise welcomed
