Bleeding Excatly the same after surgery

So it's been 2 weeks since surgery took everything but ovaries. Since Saturday I have started spotting well last night I am bleeding really heavy and having blood clots again its like it was before surgery. My doctor said it's normal to have bleeding for up to 6 weeks after surgery. I am still having heavy bleeding and clots and cramps could there be something else going on that he missed?? Can the blood loss be from something else that is wrong or is this normal cause I am freaking out now.

I am sorry you are going through this. If you are soaking a pad an hour get in to your Dr. or the ER.

This could be a hematoma resolving or it could be something else but this level of bleeding is not what I would call normal.

Go to your doctor or the ER that much bleeding after surgery is not good.

I agree...you need to go to the ER!! It is normal to have spotting, but not full on bleeding after this surgery!! If it looks like a period, it is not normal and you need to be seen.

The bleeding is down to spotting today so I'm just gonna watch it and see. I have been taking it alot easier today and seems to be getting better. I just hope that he found the problem and there isn't something else going on that is causing bleeding that he didn't see.

Just take it easy and if you start bleeding again, you should seriously get to the ER...it could be a hematoma and you don't want to mess around with that, sweetie! Good luck to you!
