First time sex after 7 weeks clearance

7 weeks ago I had a hysterectomy & bladder lift. I was given clearance for sex so my boyfriend & I tried. It was fine, no pain during at all. However, I am really sore and am having a light pink discharge. Is this normal? Should I still be sore 2 days afterwards?

A little soreness and discharge is not unusual, I don't know about 2 days of soreness. I'd suggest waiting to try again until you double check with your Dr. Sometimes even when you've been cleared, it takes longer to get to totally normal and that can be frustrating.
