post op chest pain...
I am 6 days post op and all has been fairly normal except my appetite and this morning I woke up and the righ side of my chest under my breast is hurting. With deep breathing. Should I be worried or should I just put my heating pad on it and get over it.

It could be gas, but any chest pain should be reported to your  . Please keep us posted on how you're doing.

If you cannot reach your doctor please go to the ER. It could be gas but it could also be serious like a clot.

I agree. Chest pain can be a symptom of a pulmonary embolism. Please go to the ER and make sure you tell them you have had surgery within the last week. It's always better to err on the side of caution.
