Back Pain 19 days Post Op

Ok so I know I posted yesterday about how great I was feeling, but today is my first day off all my meds and I've noticed that my lower back hurts pretty bad.
Does anyone else have back pain?
Is it just the body shifting?
It's discouraging to feel so good one day, then feel icky the next....

My back is killing me. When I was at my 1 wk post-op last week, she said it is normal, but man, is it wearing me out! I haven't had a pain pill since Sunday and am trying to decide if I should call and see if they'll refill my prescription.

I had mine refilled and they put me on 50mg of Tramadol every 8 hours, and rotate with 5mg or Percocet. The Percocet are gone, but I have a few Tramadol left, but I notice when I take the pain pills I tend to overdo it because I "feel better".
I'm trying not to take anything now because I can survive without them, and I have a history with substance abuse due to the chronic pelvic pain that the surgery fixed.
I don't want to reopen an old wound, but MAN this sucks!!!!

I was just sitting at my desk in my home office and had to go lie down because of my back. First time its sent me back to bed. I'm only taking 600 mg of avdil at night to sleep. I still have lots of pain pills but they make it hard to think, read or do much of anything. This heating pad on my back is starting to feel pretty good though.

I am almost 2 weeks post open and am also having a fair amount of back pain. I find heat helps. Good Luck, Feel Better Soon
