I made it over here.....(son ment)

Thank you all so much for the kind wishes.
I went to the castle Monday morning the 25th at 6AM.....was wheeled away at 6:30 AM.....and didnt arrive in my room until 1PM!
My surgery lasted 3 hours.....my doctor said my insides were "horrible". He took my uterus, tubes, both ovaries and cervix. My uterus had collapsed inside itself, I had several blood filled cysts on my left ovary and many cysts on my right. I go back tomorrow to have the 50+ staples removed from my vertical 9 inch incision! I also had a hernia repaired, and have a 4" slanted incision on my lower right side as well.
I was given a spinal for anethesia since I get so ill.....but it only worked on my right side as it was placed wrong.
I have felt pretty good....very, very, sore. I begged to go home two days post op....and Nicholas came home at 4 1/2 days post op. My husband took the whole weekend off to pamper me.....and he has done a EXCELLENT job.........could not have asked for any better care........He is working 1/2 day tomorrow to drive me to my doctor appointment for the staple removal. I love that man! I was started on OGEN for my hormone therapy.....and am hoping all will be well with the path report.
Thank you so much for the loving and kind posts......I know that with every thing Nicholas went through with his bone marrow transplant....he is such a hero! I am a big ole baby who over did it big time today and is now....flat on my back!

Welcome home Mary Ann !!!! I hope that the hardest part for you is over. I know it was for me. Just remember you are going to have to not be superwoman for a little bit. Let your body (and soul) heal right now. If you need me, just PM!!!!
