Re: Another surgery!! This isn't fun anymore!!

Glad to hear from you - we were all thinking of you and wishing you well!

Also, nice to know that you are healing nicely. Even though I know you didn't want another surgery to tell you that - it is a nice upside to it.

Re: Another surgery!! This isn't fun anymore!!

I'm so sorry to hear you need more surgery so soon after this one. I had my gall bladder out when I was younger (19) and it's nothing like having a hysterectomy so rest assured that the kind of recovery is nothing like this.

They do most gall bladder removals laprascopically and I have 4 ports sites from then. One in your belly button so that may cause some more discomfert for you. Most people are up and walking around the same day of their op and feeling much better. It takes a few weeks to fully recover but the pain is nothing like a hyster pain at all.

The relief from having the op though is IMMEDIATE. being able to eat cheese (one of my triggers) and not throw up for 8 hours is a big plus lol.

It may be soon but on the other hand you are already recovering so probably won't notice it much. I think that hysters send our body into a complete spin from reading so many posts about secondary things going wrong in our bodies. I hope you get better soon and take care. Sending positive hugs your way
