Feeling let down by my body

The first week or two I had night sweats. Then, my breasts became pretty sensitive. Now I feel moody and I have headaches (I never have headaches). My doctor said don't worry as the remaining ovary may just be sleepy still. Did anyone have these symptoms temporarily after surgery and then have their ovary wake up? Thanks.

No ovaries here, but I will be praying for a speeding recovery! Get well soon.

I didn't have major symptoms immediately after surgery, but no 3 months out it has hit with a vengeance. I too have 1 ovary remaining. I think mine just gave up!

Ayn, As your doctor has said, it is possible that your ovaries just need a little more time to wake up. In the first couple of weeks of my recovery I had hot flashes. It scared the daylights out of me, because I kept my ovaries and thought this can not be happeneing The hot flashes went away eventually. My breasts are still more tender now than they were pre op. Your body has been through a lot. Give it time and if you still don't see a change then speak to your doctor again

Thanks. I guess time will tell. In the meantime I wish there was some diet or herb that would help wake my ovary up. Maybe I should research this. Thank you ladies. It's so comforting to just hear from others.
