2+ weeks post hysterectomy: Involuntary stretch and pushing while sleeping
has anyone experienced involuntary stretching and pushing while they sleep? I've been waking up to either stretching or pushing (almost like bearing down) the past few mornings. This morning really scared me cause I the pain woke me up and I was pushing. I'm now scared to go to sleep afraid I'll tear vaginal cuff. I've been sleeping on side and back. No matter what I do either my back starts hurting or my hips... I'm falling apart I just want to hurry up and heal, but afraid my involuntary movements are cause damage.

Re: Involuntary stetch and pushing while sleeping
Hi. I really don't know if it causes any damage or not. I also had those strange urges to push and involuntary pushing like I wanted to have a baby. It was in the first couple of weeks and even while I was just resting lying down flat but it seems to have stopped now. I wake up sometimes stretching and have to stop myself as it hurts. Not sure why it happens and thought I was the only one.
Hope someone has an answer !
Take care
