feel as though I am not heal yet!

I had my surgery Jan. 4, 2007, I know my six weeks has been up along time ago. I am still experiencing soreness, tenderness, and a little discomfort. I am wondering if this is normal. I am also having a lot of depression bouts. Sometimes I feel I am walking around in another world. Is anybody having these symptoms?

It does take quite a while to recover from this surgery: I remember that, for me, it took a good 6 or 7 months before I was back to my old self.

You may want to talk to your doctor, especially since you're dealing with depression bouts: it may be a matter of adjusting your hormones.

It's funny you should post this. I have been feeling that way myself. I am almost 10 weeks post op and still feeling pulling pain and tenderness. Now that I am back to work I feel like I should not still be experiencing that. The more I try to get back to my life before surgery my body tells me its not ready. But from everything I read it is pretty normal. Good luck and hope you have a speedy recovery

I wouldnt ignore you're gut feelings. If you feel sore, tender dont over due it. I have found out the hard way that we dont all heal in the same time spans, so people do take longer. Call the d.r and tell them, get checked if need be.
