Still oozing from the incision
I have been oozing from part of the incision close to the bottom and i am going to the doctor weekly.
The next day after the surgery i found out that my uterus was as big as being 5 months pregnant, and the fibroid tumor was as big as a grapefruit, wow.
I am healing slowly, now i am able to sleep on my left and right side cool.
The doctor said that the oozing will stop, but i want it to stop now.
I will be glad when i can sleep on my belly that's what i miss a lot.

Re: Still oozing from the incision
when do you see your doctor again - I would think your wound should be healed by now.

Re: Still oozing from the incision
don't worry, my incision took 6 1/2 weeks to stop oozing. One day I woke up and thankfully it had stopped. Applying heat to the incision makes a huge difference. I used hot wet compresses and a heating pad. Also, as gross and gooey as it gets, it needs air to get a scab. I would air it out while watching tv for an hour or so.
Good luck...it will clear up

Re: Still oozing from the incision
My Dr actually told me to be in the buff down there as much as possible. She said then the air could get to the incision and no moisture would be trapped by my granny panties.
