Oily hair

I usually have dry hair, but now it is oily'sh and dosent want to curl.
Is this permanent?

It's not unusual for the hair to change after surgery. My hairdresser told me that the meds we take and the anethesia usually comes out thru the scalp. My hair was extremely dry and brittle following my hyst. It took some time and some pampering, but it eventually went back to its normal self.

Hmmm...I know one lady who suddenly got very very greasy hair just before her TVH...I vaguely recall her taking some hormones beforehand...
