Pre-Op Over
All went well as could be expected. My EKG looked good and the gal drawing blood did a great job finding a vein! I spoke of all my concerns (posted earlier today) and she was very sympathetic, all the gals were in the pre-op area. It didn't help tho. I got one of those breathing exercise contraptions, she had me practice while she was telling me about pneumonia and the pain of breathing deep, blah blah blah. Can't wait. She said I did a good job on the breathing thing and I told her about the time I won a cream stick sucking contest between myself and some fellow waitresses! Had some good giggles. She said since I am first thing in the morning, they will probably get me up that night, again, can't wait. I asked her about the infamous gas and she looked at me as if I had sprouted another head. She said I was not having a lap and would not be filled with gas, therefore, not have the problem getting rid of it. Hmmmm I said. We shall see. Thank you for all your replies to my earlier post, it does help knowing you are all in my corner, rooting for a happy trip! My gyno gave me a script for Restoril, not working, am going to try Ambien. He was also to call in something to calm my butt down, but has not as of yet. My hub went and nabbed some of his mom's valium, they are so tiny and she takes half of one! Shoot gals, I outweight her probably by a good hundred pounds! Will never phase me. Don't worry, I am not mixing medications, I know better! Have wonderful days, Mari
