Gas

OMG--these gas pains are the worst!! My incision is not bothering me much at all. But the gas is incredible.
Had a tough time in the castle passing gas--wouldn't let me come home until I did.
I've been trying Gas-X, but not sure if it's really helping.
Sure hope all the air gets out of there soon!

Gas

I haven't tried Milk of Magnesia. Maybe that will help. I willing to try anything at this point.

Gas

When my brother had a ruptured appendix and was nine days in the hospital, the doctor told him to lie on his left side to help get rid of gas. It's helped me a lot to know that. In addition to the medicines, I find that rubbing my abdomen helps sometimes, as well as having my husband rub the muscles on either side of my spine, using one finger on each side of the spine and just going up and down the length of my back. A chiropractor once told me that the muscles along the side of the spine, around the bra line or a little lower, directly affect the bowel, and I've found that to be true as well.
