Just bought the guide and other various "help me!" books and I have my culposcopy 2morrow bcause the pap wsn't good. I know I need a hyst and I have cysts on both ovaries but I think one may be ok. I have a lot of pain 2day but at least no period for the culposcopy. I wish I could just go in tomorrow and be done.

got all the dates set

THANKS I gotta put my feet up this afternoon, after the culposcopy, and my doctor did not want to do both the culposcopy and the hysteroscopy on the same day because of my bleeding (?)

-- but i got all my dates set for my hysteroscopy on Tues., the pre-op at the hospital on Wed., and they want me to have the surgery on Friday at noon. They made an appt for me to have it on Wed., 5/3 at 6 a.m., but they have a block on Friday, 4/28 that they want me to be "ready" for at noon.

So I can put a real date on my profile now. And while I am a little scared, at least I know where I am sleeping tonight.

Thanks for the kind ear!

Hi Sandybeaches and Welcome to you! =) Just thinking about your username makes me feel better! The waiting certainly is the hardest part but also a gift because you get to plan for being laid up for awhile. Think about cooking for the freezer, paper plates, stocking up on groceries, cleaning things like the fridge or shampoo carpets if you like. But still remember to take it nice and easy. Glad you found the site - there is a lot of love and support here! Take care! xoxoxox
